Excellent tofu in garlic sauce. We have eaten here about six times so far and enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. That said the physical plant is a little sketchy. They keep Snapple, cartons of soda cans and dry goods in the front off to the side of the ordering area. There is a dining room but I’ve never seen it in use. The are a couple of tables in the front of the store. Does bother me as you can see into the kitchen and it looks clean and orderly.

The absolute Freshest Chinese food in the East Stroudsburg area. My number one favorite Chinese spot. Food is amazing and the service is just as good!

The food was delicious and the proportions were perfect. Our order was prepared quickly and they called to let us know it was done and ready for pick up. When paid for our food the owner came out from the kitchen and gave us free drinks. I thought he was confused about our order but he was just being generous. If you’re in town for skiing or the GWL, order from New Star and get a great meal at an awesome price.

I saw that New Star had received some really good reviews so my wife and I thought we'd give it a shot. Mixed reviews at best. I thought the food was good, not great, but good. My wife is a vegan and she ordered General Tsao tofu. Tofu extra extra crispy with extra broccoli and carrots. The tofu was barely cooked and the veggies soft and soggy. We had to recook the whole shebang when we got home. The folks who run the place are super nice and the prices reasonable. Unfortunately with do many other options in the area New Star most likely will not make the cut.

Always like coming here. The food is good and the place is clean. Lots to choose from on the menu. So if you want to try another Chinese restaurant stop in to see if you will like it. Because everyone has different taste. But I like the place, my only complaint is it's always cold inside but since I do take out not dine in it's tolerable while I wait for my food.
