Shame to see the place close down, whenever I'd come to the Poconos this would be my go-to to place for ice cream. Been coming here since I was a little kid.

Not sure what type of a place this was Italian/Mediterranean/American/etc. The cheese steak was good with a bakery fresh roll. What we ordered was made on premise.
The wait staff was very helpfull. Our kids loved the cotton candy ice cream. Easy to see right off of PA 611. Reasonably priced. Public Restroom. We will definitely be going back. Too bad this place is PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

It's definitely the "go-to" place for all newcomers and visitors to the area. The drive through seems like an attractive feature although I have not tried it yet. I prefer to stand there and salivate over the numerous lists of ice creams and other deserts and snacks. Their soft ice cream comes in 20+ flavors (they infuse the flavor via a separate machine) and it's a hard fact to admit but their soft ice cream- even in basic vanilla- is superior to my old favorite, Mister Softee from back home in NYC. The serving sizes at Eats N Sweets are Huge (IMO) and a fair price. The look of the place is very no frills "old fashioned" with a sort of local, casual appeal. The girls who work there are sweet and usually bubbly. Be sure to be very clear when placing your order, and double check the total, because the staff there is mostly young girls working for the summer, and they're not above making mistakes.

Over-all a great place for delicious, no stress, option-overloaded desert. They bring new meaning to "Leave room for desert".
