Mad Dawgs Pizza & Hot Dogs

If there was a 3.5 option that's where this would land. Tried a "chili cheese" dawg and a plain slice. Chili cheese is in quotations because this was not typical. I would have ordered it regardless and I ended up enjoying it, but I was just surprised. The chili was more of an Italian style chili with a hefty flavor of tomato, and the cheese was like shaker bottle parmesan cheese. The bun was a split top white bread style that they would serve in New England. The dog being $6 was more than it should have been, but businesses in this area are always up charging with camelback right there so I expected it.

The slice was solid. Good flavor and I asked for it cooked well done and it was crispy. Don't recall the cost of the slice. This used to be Tony's on the Mountain but the pizza didn't taste the same so I'm assuming with new owners came a new pizza maker. All in all it was good, not great.

Pizza was fantastic! Crust was soft, not too soft just perfect. Sauce is very good. Today our shop ordered 3 lunch specials. Definitely great prices for the amount of food. Cheesesteak was delicious. Guys enjoyed their chicken parm. Definitely recommend trying them out. Staff very nice and courteous.

The Mac and Cheese Dawg with bacon is a must have … absolutely 5stars
And the chili dawg was out of this world. The garlic butter toasted bun is a game changer. I will definitely be coming here every time I visit Tannersville. My husband got the special … large pie, wings and knots. All were phenomenal. I thought the garlic knots were exceptional! And to top it all of, they had cans of grape soda 🙌🏻

Fantastic pizza! Perfect crust, fresh toppings, and friendly service. A must-try for pizza lovers in the area!

Pizza was good especially the taste, crust was a little less crisp than I like but that is preference, cheese and sauce was quite good. Atmosphere was better than expected and yes they have slices. One of the better pizza's in the Poconos in my opinion.
