Shawnee General Store

Very Rustic cute old fashioned general store has most anything you might need in a pinch.

I have gone past this store for nearly 20 years visiting family who lives up there. Was the first time in the store, what a nice quaint store one side a little restaurant on the other side a wine shop and in the middle the general store. Pick up maple syrup, root beer, strawberry licorice all good tasting. Next time up in the area I will most definitely visit.

Love this general store, have been to this place several times in the past 30 years when we visit the folks in Delaware Water Gap. Located near Shawnee Inn. This place makes great sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. They nailed the fried egg, bacon and cheese sandwich on a Kaiser Roll. I get this when I visit, because apparently down south no one knows how to make these like they do in NY, barely can find Kaiser Rolls. The general store does! ???? Enjoy!

We really enjoyed the breakfast menu, especially the price! And we loved shopping around the General store. Our only disappointment was seeing so many things made in China. We were so hoping to purchase items made in the US, particularly around New England.

Cool General Store with Wine Store and Restaurant attached. I needed hamburger rolls and the restaurant manager had mercy on me and sold me what I needed. Best rolls we had on our vacation. What great service!
