Roman Delight Abington

One of my favorite go to restaurant. Never disappoints

Food was great. Waitress was fast and efficient, she even let my 1yr old daughter push the vacuum she was amazed by. I would recommend the manager put on more then 1 waitress for the whole place, but she did great.

Food was very good and we were served fairly quick. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly.. Good prices also.

Twenty and thirty years ago, when we lived nearer, we visited Roman Delight more often, or took out pizza or pasta dinner now and then. Last night we wanted comfort food and a glass of wine (beer in my case), and this was the obvious choice. (Maybe not so obvious: my wife wondered why I picked it: our other comfort food place is takeout only, and I wanted us to get away and sit down together.)
The side salad isn't large, isn't fancy, but it's what it should be, and the balsamic vinaigrette was tasty. The glass of wine wasn't as large as other places serve, but I don't think it was as expensive, either, and my wife found one glass was enough to accompany the meal. The pasta—we both enjoyed it greatly. She had baked ravioli or ziti, I think; I had baked stuffed shells. Hot, tasty, with a good sauce.
Nothing exciting on our table, but the familiar, the comfortable. I went home with a distinct feeling that all was well, a sense of satisfaction in the goodness of the meal. This, too, is as it should be.

We frequent Roman Delight weekly. Family from out of town? This is the best place to take them on a night out! The carry out is incredibly easy and quick if you are in a hurry and want a night in.
