ZARA HALAL Grill (W.G)

I was surprised at how good this food tasted.
Wasn’t expected to be blown away with food from a mall court food, but it met and exceeded my expectation.
I ordered falafel and hummus.
My friend order the lamb platter. Portions were plentiful and delicious.

The lamb gyro is so good. They give you plenty of bang for your buck. And their French fries are impressive - would have never thought a Halal place would have some great fries. This is my go to mall food court place.

Zara Halal has great food! I love the taste of the rice that comes in the platters. Falafel balls are good, as well as the pita.

Please go support them by eating there! There was a similar restaurant in the Willow Grove Mall food court (Aya Mediterranean kitchen) that went out of business, and it would be a shame if the same fate happens to Zara.

We went to willow grove mall yesterday. Wanted to get some halal food. We saw Zara Halal Food court. I wasn’t that interested as most of these gyro restaurants serve sub-par food that doesn’t taste good. But the wifey wanted to taste. We order the platter with 4 proteins. So we got the rice platter with chicken, lamb, shrimp, fries that comes with a pita bread. The bread was dry but the platter tasted really good. We also ordered fried chicken which was very dry. Overall it was a good experience. I liked that platter very much.

Rahib is awesome! I definitely recommend this place if you are looking to eat Halal. Proportions are great! Great food. My lamb gyro was amazing!
