Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

The fried chicken and fish is really tasty. Extremely crowded between 12 noon and 4pm. The servers are friendly and they make sure your refills are plentiful. No crowd control so rude people cut in front if you. The buffet has a decent lunch variety at a reasonable price.

I went to the breakfast the first week it opened just to give it a chance. I didn't expect it to be that great, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, and the service was on point. The place was bright, and very decorative. I'm glad I got there before the morning rush because when I was leaving, long lines were beginning to form. Good to see a quality food establishment close to my community.

My husband and I went to the grand opening arriving shortly after 8 am. I had went to their website the night before and a coupon for a free beverage was offered. When I gave the coupon to the very nice cashier, she wasn't sure how to apply it. She called over her manager who was standing near and he loudly asked who had a coupon. He wasn't pleasant at all. Not even a hint of a smile. Maybe due to the pressure of the first day..I hope so. The rest of the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Especially our waitress, Karena. She was very sweet and attentive. We sampled a wide variety of food and it was good. I really enjoyed the burgers, which were actually chopped steak and was surprised how good the carrot cake was. We will definitely go back to try the breakfast brunch when it is offered.

The experience of getting into the restaurant I can live without. They definitely need more structure. I'm sure it was only this way because it was a grand opening but the need a better system. Once inside it was very clean the waitresses and waiters were very helpful and were there before we could ask for anything. They were slow on replenishing the food causing longer lines trying to get food. I will recommend and would also go back.
