It's a very decent restaurant and my first impression was good.
The restaurant provides a chic ambience, and it's decorated nicely. It gives a crisp and clean atmosphere for it hasn't even been six months since it opened last year. Service rendered was very good. Our server was polite, charming and efficient. Our food came out from the kitchen fairly quickly after we placed our orders.
As is often the case for me, I tried Pho Tai for my first visit to establish a baseline for the goodness of a Vietnamese restaurant. Unfortunately, Pho Ngon was only just about average for me.
Pho broth was very decent, but it wasn't the best. The beef was a little tough because it came out of the kitchen pretty much well-done. As for their Pad Thai... chicken was significantly under-flavored and had some texture issues per my wife.
My pursuit for the best Pho in the area continues.
Nice atmosphere, great service. Pho was good, several unique Vietnamese dishes. The Crispy Egg noodle dish was fun but the chicken didn't seem fresh. We also tried the sampler appetizer which was a lot of food.
I’ve been here a couple of times and love it every time! This particular time I ordered for take out. Tried all new things and it was the best yet! I got the roast pork and wonton pho soup. Just wow. I usually get beef but the pork is to die for. Melts like butter in your mouth. I also got the curry sauce stir fry with tofu and chicken satay. Everything is 🤤🤤
I wanted to get some groceries at the nearby Asian grocery store, so decided to give Pho Ngon a try.
Pho Ngon is beautifully decorated. The interior decorations are tastefully designed and it's very clean. It looks better than most Vietnamese places I've been to. Food is reasonably priced and tastes good. Service is friendly and efficient.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with our lunch today. If there's anything that could have been better, I do wish they had a soda machine. I also find the canned soda price interesting: $2.06 per can. Also, if you pay by card, they automatically add 3% on your bill, which is a bit petty for a business.
Finally excited to have a vietnamese restaurant close by in East Norriton. The food was delicious and the servers were very friendly. The appetizer sampler and the grilled pork pho were amazing. Will definitely be back to try some other options soon.
