I actually like Panera in general, but this location is not great. I've gone there several times because of it's convenient location for me, but it seems I always get shorted on my order. Their prices are already pretty high, no need to give me a sandwich with little meat inside, or soup that is only filled 60% in the container, or a hot sandwich that is cold in the middle. The wait times are ridiculous as well. I've been the only order waiting before, and it took about 10-15 minutes to make a sandwich and put mac and cheese into a container. The staff at the register are very nice, but the ones making your food are always talking very loudly and pay little attention to making your food correctly. Their are better places to eat in the area.
My company orders frequently from here for our lunch meetings. Always enjoyed the sandwiches and selections. Decided to order sandwiches for wife's birthday for dinner. She picked Roasted Turkey w/Avocados because she loves avocados. Picked order up on the way home. After a bite, she noticed there was not a slice of avocado in the sandwich, clearly an error. Since we were too far from Panera, I stopped by on the way home the next day and explained to the manager about the oversight. He handled the situation politely and professionally without asking for a lengthy explanation and compensated me fairly without question. And that's how you achieve customer retention and loyalty! And positive reviews.
Today I had a Pick 2 meal. I really like the autumn squash soup. It's rich and flavorful with pine nuts sprinkled pin top. The Cuban sandwich was tasty, not quite as hot as I would have liked. The portions are good for me - but not huge. Also free WiFi so I was able to get some work done as well.
I go there every 2 weeks when I shop at Trader Joe's. The food is consistently good & fresh. Portions are just right. They don't overfeed you!
