Sumneytown Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sumneytown Hotel, and I must say that it was a truly delightful experience. The staff at the restaurant were simply wonderful, providing friendly and attentive service throughout my entire meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu, and their enthusiasm for the restaurant and its offerings was infectious.

But what really impressed me about the Sumneytown Hotel was the delicious food. The dinner was prepared with the freshest ingredients and the utmost care, and every bite was a true delight for the senses. I particularly enjoyed the variety of flavors in each dish and the creative combinations of ingredients. The presentation was also impressive, making each dish a work of art.

I liked that they had NA beer on the menu, and an NA cocktail. The poutine was pretty good, though only one side had cheese curds, I would have liked a little more for the price. The bread to start the meal came with a nice butter and two types of rolls, awesome.

I thought the rest of the food was just okay. I had their queso fried chicken sandwich and neither I or my girlfriend picked up that it was queso. It was a bit spicy but kinda had a sausage gravy vibe? Too much sauce. It wasn't bad, but certainly a lot to take on. The black bean burger could have used a little more of the toppings though.

Service was decent, no complaints with regards to that.

Everything was good, and it's a great place for the area for a date night, but with the prices being what they were, I wouldn't come back.

We had the pleasure of dining here for the first time last week for my birthday. The food was excellent, I always wanted to try Scotch Eggs! Great! The service was spot on as you expect from a Jamison family restaurant. The staff made us feel special and welcome. Thank you all for the absolutely wonderful birthday!

I went for a late lunch this past weekend - WOW! The food is WONDERFUL! I got enough to bring home! The drinks were DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL - the service was GREAT! What a treat to have this at the end of the block! Thanks Jess and to your Staff :)

I have so many fond memories of the Sumneytown Hotel, and thanks to the Jamison family, can look forward to many more! The renovation/restoration is absolutely stunning. Thank you for keeping some of our nostalgic favorites on the menu - although I look forward to trying everything!
