I ordered melt shop over the weekend and was very impressed by the mall food. I ordered the maple bacon grilled cheese and I could actually taste the maple syrup! I really enjoy that they give you buzzers so you can sit down and get a table instead of hanging around waiting for them to call your number. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and my sandwich was very tasty.
Can a grilled cheese sandwich have too much cheese? If you say absolutely not, then OMG, this is the place for you. Crispy tater tots just melt in your mouth. All is cooked when you order, but believe me, the small wait is worth it. The service was excellent; actually, the counter help and chefs of Melt Shop where the only ones in the area that greeted us with a smile when we were studying the menu prior to ordering. My little ones were happy with their food choice and I am certain they will be asking for this place again whenever we are back in the KOP mall.
I love going to Melt shop because they have a gluten free option. You can still enjoy a grilled cheese sandwich or a burger melt with awesome parmesan. I didn't give it 5 stars because the customer service with the cashier is always thumbs down but the staff member that gives you your order is always thumbs up.
The hot honey sauce rocks, if you get chicken tenders get the sauce on the side as a dip. Also the chicken is high quality.
I’m not one to rate mall food, but this isn’t typical mall food. It’s located at the start of the super high-end section of the King of Prussia Mall. We ordered chicken strips (real breast of chicken and lightly hand-breaded), a Nutella shake and the turkey melt (multi-grain bread, turkey, cheddar, cabbage slaw, tomato and Russian dressing). Service was super nice and prompt. The quality of the food and ingredients were that of a really good restaurant and not of a fast mall joint. I’d love to see this place here in Center City.
