So the food is awesome! Head chefs Matt and pat do incredible work with their food. I had the Buffalo mango habanero wings and they were so good! The beers were alright. I had this cucumber ipa and it wasn’t that great. But our server Christian was awesome! Ask for him. He’s great at his job.
We have watched Lock 29 progress for months and were excited to see they opened on July 29th!. First, the main room is spacious with a large bar area and lots of televisions. They have and extensive beer menu. The house cream ale caught my eye as I remembered our frat house ale. The cream ale did not disappointment me and I think I could drink it all night. The opening food menu is great. The items we had were served hot and tasted great. I was told they will add more as they get more experience with their customers and what they would like. Brunch is high on the list!
Lock 29 is just over the bridge from Phoenixville in Montgomery County along the river. After you visit, take a drive along the river. The park is very pretty as well. Put Lock 29 Rebel Hill Brewery on your list.
Wow what a great experience we had , it’s so cool to see something new pop up in Phoenixville. The restaurant space itself is well designed , with though put into many of the rooms. The menu is the perfect size , you know what ever you order it will be fresh. Another great thing about this place ? Tons of parking.
We were there opening night and it was pretty much flawless. Waitress was great and knew the beer list and menu already. Will definitely be back!
Visited for lunch on opening day and loved the outdoor seating options. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger, the Fried Green Tomato BLT, and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Each sandwich came with housemade chips. The food was delicious and the Rebel Hill beer was just as great! We will definitely be back.
Went on opening day and it didn’t even seem like it was the first day. Everything was very smooth. Obviously knew rebel hill beer was great, but the food here is just as good! Awesome atmosphere will definitely be back.
