    Good food and cold beer and a nice atmosphere. It's a shame that this place closed down...????????

    We celebrated a small wedding for my sister-in-law here last night in their 3rd story room. The room was a perfect size for the group of 30 that was there. Room at each table, room for food and room to dance. The food was good, but not epic or anything. What made the Broad Axe such a good experience, was their service. The staff went out of their way to make our time there perfect. They helped my wife setup a private space to feed our 8 month old, they were incredibly friendly, they continually checked on each table to ensure everything was good and they gave special attention to the families with kids. We were extremely happy with our experience.

    Interesting history. I have always enjoyed this restaurant and sitting at the bar is nice for a party of two or three. Great menu but when in the area check it out. You will like enjoy.
