Great little neighborhood pizza shop. Good food and friendly staff. Outdoor dining is a plus. They’ve got a large menu with all the standards. Garlic knots are good and they’ve always got an interesting selection of pizzas at the counter.
We tried Nico's last Sunday for the first time. We tried the pizza and wings, and we loved it! My husband is a chef in center city and knows how hard this business can be... Welcome to the neighborhood Nico's, we look forward to our next order!
This is not Bravo. Thought I'd try this new place thou I was hesitant. Same look and feel but the pizza is much better. I know it is an individual preference on sauce and dough so your mileage may differ. I bought a plain slice to taste the details and a "works" pizza for the family. The crust was really good and the toppings were plentiful and the sauce was ok. My view - the pizza is a contender, not the best, and it is a little pricier than competitors but I will likely go back again and will try other items on the menu. I recommend you give it a try for yourself.
Stopped in last minute on Saturday night to grab a couple slices. Owner was extremely nice and food was great. Buffalo chicken slice, chicken and honey mustard slice, and garlic knots were all hits. Looking forward to trying more of the selection.
Nico's Pizza is a brand-new pizzeria located where the old Bravo Pizza used to be. The food is delicious; better than Bravo Pizza. I chatted with the owner. His name is Marco. I asked why it is called Nico's Pizza if his name is Marco. He said Nico is his son. I thought that was very sweet. As I was waiting for my food, he gave me some complimentary garlic bread. Man, talk about delicious. It is like the garlic bread they serve at From the Boot in Blue Bell. Yes, it wa just that soft and succulent. And on top of that, he gave me a couple free slices to take home and sample. Really delicious pizza. Oh, and I got mozzarella sticks too. They were yummy too. I will make this my go-to pizzeria from now on. Five stars.
