Pine Barn Inn

Nice rooms--comparble to the Hilton. Attentive staff. Free shuttle service. On site restaurant has delicious and healthy meals. Unfortunately....no military discount?! A first since most hoteliers offer some discount to military personnel...

If you are going here because you or a loved one is in/plans to be in the hospital, stop at the Geisinger info desk first and they’ll give you a voucher for a discount rate. Make sure Pine Barn Inn staff are aware of this when you are booking so they put you in the correct “standard” room.
The rooms were clean if not a little “aged”. Staff were kind and helpful. TV has only basic channels +sports (so no HBO) which may not seem significant unless you have a lot of time to kill.

My family and I attended the Easter smorgasboard at the Inn. I myself have never been here. It was a lovely. well lit, nice place to eat. It had very comfortable seating. Not to close seating that you could actually walk through isles. The temp of the room was very comfortable. The food was amazing and was kept hot by heated buffet burners. The meats were very tender and we'll chosen for this menu. After eating the main menu the desserts were nicely displayed on tables just outside the main venue area. They were constantly being replenished so there were a number of delicious desserts to chose from. I was very impressed by the wait staff that were constantly checkng to see if we needed more to drink. We didn't have to wait for anything. The time that we spent out for our meal at this restaurant , was quite memorable. Thank you for a Fine Easter Meal that's made great memories!!! Jean Hoffman and family

Very nice place. Great food. Worth checking out. Seafood buffet on Friday nights. Reservations suggested.

I enjoyed my stay here. Was here on couple of business visits to the hospital and research centre close by. Every time I booked Pine Barn and I remember I stayed here at-least 15 days. They have excellent room service, staff are polite and quite helpful. Reasonable room rates, ample parking, good wifi.
