I am from NJ and would frequent to Chinatown , NY a lot growing up. When I moved out to Bethlehem 3 years ago, I didn't know I'd yearn so much for Chinatown style food which I am thrilled to have found here at Noval!! They speak both English and Cantonese and are very friendly. The food tastes just like the cooking style in Chinatown and I would definitely recommend the Dim sum and menu dishes to anyone who is looking for NYC quality Chinese food.
I am so glad that we have a good dim sum restaurant here in our area. The menu is huge but I wish there was more dimsum options.
We ordered a few dishes to share and weren't disappointed.
The service was excellent as well as most of the food. We ordered the duck noodle soup and didn't care much about the broth. The duck came on the side and was outstanding, nice, and crispy. I think it's probably one of the best ducks we ever had.
Dim sum was prepared and spiced right.
Mongolian beef as well. I can't wait to try more.
With a little work on the decore, the atmosphere
could be easily changed to cozy and make this place even more inviting.
Delicious, fresh and authentic Chinese food. You could see the veggies were freshly cut and every sauce was so flavorful!! Each entree was plentiful as well. The spring rolls weren't frozen at all and the scallion pancakes came with an amazing dark duck sauce that I'd never even heard of. I can't stress anymore how fresh and flavorful everything was!! The gentleman that served us were very nice, attentive, helpful and even fun. Excellent service and clean place too. I can't wait to go back!
Very excited for local dim sum finally! Allegedly the owners moved from Chinatown NYC. Everything we ordered was excellent and served piping hot, and the owners/staff were great as well. We especially loved the wonton in chili oil, stir fried sticky rice, and salt and pepper calamari... so flavorful and yummy. The bbq ribs noodle soup with rice noodle was a great addition on a cold night, but next time I want to try their hot and sour soup because I heard other customers raving about it. Can’t wait to go back again and try more things! I’ll bring some beers next time we well to compliment the delicious food.
Great place!! Had the spring rolls, cheese wontons, general tso’s chicken, & a veggie dinner. All were wonderful! Lots of flavor & especially loved the wontons. Nice selection on the dim sum. Can’t wait to go back! Sorry there aren’t more pics, but were so hungry forgot to take more!!
