The fish quality here is very fresh and I would say that its one of the best in Philly! Beautiful atmosphere, perfect for date night and family dinner.
We LOVE this place! We came to Philly from New York and have been spoiled by the best sushi in the country. We were so happy to find a place that is as delicious as we had back in NY and the staff and ambiance are great. It's cozy and cute, great decor. I don't typically go for BYOB so that almost broke the deal for me but my husband told me there would be oysters so I went. SO GLAD I DID! we will be back!
This was our first time going. We loved every bit of it. We had the manayunk roll, scallop canopy roll, and soft shell crab roll. I really enjoyed the scallop and soft shell crab rolls. I'm not big on cooked sushi so I could take or leave the manayunk roll my fiance ordered. Definitely will be back!
The tea and pork dumplings we're good.
My father got sick from the sushi and we had to leave early.
My NY strip steak was a fatty cut and not tender enough to bite into using the chopsticks they suggested. When asking for a knife and fork, I was given a fork and butter knife. I requested a steak knife which they did not have, so they gave me a small cutting knife which was a slight improvement.
Service was respectful but the product delivered was underwhelming.
