This is an I stand classic. Great beer selection, good portion size and food. Great service. This is an excellent place to eat, chill, or have a meeting.
The food is good; the ice cream and milkshakes are great. The beer selection is excellent as well so makes a good bottle shop stop as well. Super kid friendly as well (1/2 price for kids on Tuesdays, variety of kids food option both breakfast and lunch/dinner).
Never had a bad meal and I really like the old style diner layout. Great place to pick up craft beer by the bottle or six pack. Get there early on weekends because the parking is tight but you can park on the street. 4 stars for the long wait time on the weekends.
Food was good. Very sad to see that some of the food items that are iconic to the diner have been removed from the menu. Not sure if it stands out anymore.
My previous favorites:
*I first took my daughter here for stuffed French toast after seeing it on the Food Network. It was amazing and they would even package it to go so we could take home and enjoy later.
*I also took a recommendation for trying chicken and waffles. (strips, not bone in item that is on the menu now). It was incredible.
*I also was looking for the mash potato croquettes. They were unique and very tasty.
*The last item was the donuts. They were to die for, but I do understand the machine broke and is not going to be replaced.
Great drink, food and atmosphere. The dessert options are many and I like the vegan food options they have. Staff was helping and serve better. This place is simply awesome and I would love to come again here. Although it was lil bit away from my property but worth visiting here. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
