(August 13, 2020, 2:51 pm)This is the best vegan pizza I have tried in Philly by far! The crust is amazingly well done, a perfect balance between thickness, chewiness and crunchiness. The mushroom pizza is my favorite. The pizza isn't just great, it's decadent. If you want to feel warm and satisfied after having some vegan pizza, come to this place.

(February 22, 2020, 7:27 pm)I came in for a quick slice on Tuesday. I came back Thursday and Saturday for more. This is some seriously delicious pizza. I’m hooked on the Balboa. Today I tried the salad. Fresh, abundant, and yummy. Clean seating area, clean a large bathroom. And not to be overlooked, the incredibly friendly staff!

(July 3, 2019, 10:44 pm)Pretty expensive but you get what you pay for-- ELITE pizza, the best vegan cheese money can buy on dreamy crust and intentionally sourced, fresh ingredients.
I've been a little surprised that there are usually not many slices ready to order, but maybe that will adjust in the future. Very very very very good pizza.
