Good place and food. Quick service

My wife and I have had our share of fancy dinners in Baltimore, Maryland. Each time we're there, folks we're with are relentless with, "You gotta get the crab cakes," "Mmm, you need to try these crab cakes," "Have you had the crab cakes?". Each time, we fall for it. We buy the over-priced, overrated crab cakes, take one bite, look at each other and say, "Not nearly as good as Mercer's."
Mercer's crab cakes are the best around, and better than anything we've tried elsewhere! Whether they skip the filler altogether or whatever is happening with their family recipe, I haven't had a better crab cake!
This morning, I forced myself to break away from the tried and true victor of their menu, and went with a chicken and pesto sandwich for lunch! It really hit the spot and was yet another dish I'll be comparing of all others.
I hate to give the place such a good review out of fear I won't be able to find a seat for brunch next time.

Food was good but....very pricey!! $30 eggs and meats for 2...yes fresh. Staff friendly. Not for the kids

Very clean and nice place. Good options, breakfast all day. Food was very good. Homemade chips were great. Quick and friendly service. Good coffee Great spot!

Cute little place with awesome breakfast specials. Great coffee as well. Never had a meal I didn't like from here. It's truly a gem in the neighborhood.
