Tate's Good Food Restaurant

Okay for what it is. Relatively cheap. Probably wouldn't go back though.

This is a small place that serves breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The staff is friendly but not the quickest The menu is diverse and the food is good. Not great but good. It's typical of any neighborhood diner in Philly but just a bit better My one complaint is that the place is in need of a makeover The counters are cracked, ceiling tiles are stained and the furniture is tired The place needs a good cleaning too It's worth going too if you aren't in a hurry and if you aren't a clean freak

Definitely not a bad place to check out. Simple, sweet and very very friendly people/service. Feels cozy and at home with the atmosphere it has. This is my first time here and just ordered my breakfast but I'm sure the food will be exceptionally great without thinking about it, people who make you feel good coming in make good food.

Tate's....one of the last mom & pop breakfast places left around. Food's still really good. Waitress actually apologized for the food taking so long to which I said please don't apologize for cooking my food fresh!!
