    They have the best mexican food in South Phily in my opinion. The atmosphere is great, food is very delicious. I highly recommend this place if you want Mexican food.

    Our first time there we happened to spot it while we were driving by so glad we turned around and went back. Delicious food and service was tremendous. Thank you Tamalex Restaurant we will be back.

    The food was excellent! Everything was fantastic. I definitely recommend the tamales! The server was very friendly and attentive. It made the trip to South Philly definitely worth it!

    Nice atmosphere serving Mexican and Honduran foods. Menu in Spanish. I came for take out. Staff gracious and helpful with menu suggestions. I ordered a delicious shrimp burrito. Thick and tasty, came with green and red salsa. I'll be back.
