I’ve lived in the area for about a year now, and Kansai has become a bi-weekly staple of my diet. Their food is delicious and consistent. I really cannot speak any higher of this place, it is just that good. Best spicy tuna roll I’ve ever had — it makes you wonder how other sushi places can get it so wrong. Spicy scallop is also a favorite. They also somehow make a Godzilla roll even more delicious than what you expect, it’s magical. Highly, highly recommend this place. Even if you’re not a big sushi guy, they do EXCELLENT Japanese style fried rice and dishes ala what you’d expect from hibachi. Their gyoza is also on point (If you can’t tell by now, I’ve pretty much ordered the whole menu). Also I should add this place is a pretty good value — the sushi prices are about what you expect but the rolls are very large with minimal rice; you get your money’s worth.
