    Delicious and extremely authentic food at an even better price. Hot tortilla chips and meats right off the grill. I got a variety of tacos and my friend got the steak special, which tasted like it was from a steakhouse. Will definitely return.

    Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything is so fresh and the people are so nice. The salsas they give you at the beginning are incredible and there are lots of vegetarian options. Our new favorite spot for sure!

    Talk about off the beaten path. Even for those who live in the neighborhood. With just a counter and a few tables this family is as good as it is humble. The folks behind the counter are lovely people, the food comes out hot and flavorful.

    One feels comfortable, welcomed, cared for, and well fed which are all qualities of a restaurant that can make it work.

    I hope El Rancho Viejo is around for a long time and can continue to become a neighborhood niche for humble food and some quality tacos at the counter.

    This place is DELICIOUS! Everything is so fresh, and tasty. I'm not a huge fan of pork, but the 'pastor' is literally to die for, seriously consider it w/ one of the dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

    Came here after walking by it a couple times and was blown away! Super great food, free nachos, the meat was so tender and full of flavor, great selection of hot sauces and the staff was so friendly! The lady even chased us down after we had forgotten our doggy bag. I highly recommend this place, so much bang for your buck (huge portions!) cash only and byob, don’t miss it!
