Square Pie

Literally the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life.

When I think of pizza, I'm usually thinking circle. Well, the fellas down at square pie have taken that notion and turned it on it's head. Roll in for some big flavors on an unconventionally shaped pizza, just don't ask for a meatball pie.

I will start off with...Yummy Pizza. We branch out every now and then and this little gem was well worth the trek off the beaten trail-- South Philly's streets require a map. The restaurant was quaint but seating was perfect for two or four. We had the square pizza which was a fun twist on pizza. The sauce was really good and the crust was deep dish. It's a BYOB and after getting lost on the streets of South Philly, I was tempted to ask someone to share their wine to go along with the great pizza. I plan to go back to try some of the other interesting menu selections. All in all, do yourself a favor and visit this spot. You'll love it.

We got in for our first visit on a night when they seemed to be understaffed. It was literally one server and one cook but they handled it so well, I was super impressed! The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and everything was reasonably priced. I can’t wait to go back!

Incredible crust, incredible sauce. Best shop in the city for lovers of deep dish or thicker style pizzas. The box is legit heavy when you pick up a pie. I would recommend the traditional mozzarella pie but they also have excellent Italian combinations with meat and veggies on top as well.
