Bubby's Brisket

was okay. Nothing special, had the brisket with cheese. I could’ve made this at home.

I love everything they sell. My favorites are the chilli cheese dog, the chilli cheese fries and the half chicken steak. Oh I cannot forget the chicken nachos with fried onions, they are to die for.

I was in the mood for a pulled Brisket sandwich and a quick Google introduced me to this little gem located two blocks from my work. How I've managed to remain oblivious to Bubby's for so long is a mystery - it's something I've been looking for since I started working in Center City. I ordered a brisket and cheese sandwich and was delighted when a short time later I was presented with a huge Italian roll stuffed with a healthy portion of melt in the mouth brisket and provelone. 8 bucks in total, an absolute bargain.

Great food at a fantastic price! I work in Center City and goodness knows there are a LOT of food options. Bubby's though, is one of my absolute favorites. There are no tables, so be prepared for takeout only. The food though, is great, and the service is friendly. The owner and chef, "Bubby" (no, he's not your grandma) is extremely accommodating. He'll customize your food just about any way you want it. Be prepared for lines, though. This place is well known to the locals and we aren't afraid to wait for good food. If you know you want to try it, I recommend calling ahead. Don't be put off when they answer the phone by saying, "Brisket." That means you've called the right place.

I get the chicken Bella which is absolutely scrumptious. The chicken breast is quality chicken. And the condiments compliment the burger well. The best part are the mozzarella sticks in the burger. Lastly, the chipotle sauce is delicious and varies each time you go there. Overall the staff is friendly as well. It's my favorite burger spot in San Fran.
