Barkley's BBQ

Delicious food and super nice people! Some of the softest bread I've seen.

The Barkleys Food Truck stopped by the new Workhorse Brewery in KOP and it was my first time trying it. Ribs were some of the best I've ever (EVER!) had and the sweet and sticky wings were excellent. we ordered baked mac and cheese and cole slaw as sides and each were delicious! You can tell all the food is prepared with care and passion. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

How is it so delicious!?!?! The "sweet and sticky" wings are to die for. A girl from the south looking for some soul food in Philly has found her heart's desire at the Barkley's BBQ food truck.

Now, to be 100% impartial, it turns out I know the owner. I used to travel in the same RC Car circles. But, have not seen him for years. My stop was just a hungry fluke. I had smelled the BBQ smoke riding by on the route 48 bus. It was also a day he was open. It is opened Thus. To Sat.
The lunch of ribs green beans & fries was great! Hot, smokey flavour, not over cooked. They even have their own bottled soda to wash it down with. This quality of BBQ is hard find near home. So, it was worth the trip. The service is take out only.
