    Great classic diner in Brewerytown. Happy to have found this place! Standard fried eggs, bacon, delicious caramelize-y griddle ham, and creamy grits! It was empty on a Saturday morning, which surprised me. My husband and I were in and out in probably less than 30 minutes, which we love! Friendly couple running the place. Cash only, so be prepared.

    Great family dinner. In my weekend in philly I ate here twice. Will be back again once I move here.

    Nice older man worker there the owner I’m guessing. But to me the food was a little overpriced . Just my opinion... why did i pay 2.45 for 1 piece of French toast..

    I've been coming here since I was about 7 years old, I am going on 30 now. This is one of my favorite Diners in Philadelphia. As soon as you walk in you can feel the history that this restaurant has, over the 40+ years it's been open. This family has served millions of in and out of town guest with phenomenal tasting food and service. I would put their french toast against any Diner in Philly and I've been to majority, it's by far the best I've tasted coming from a Diner. Overall the food is delicious, please come out enjoy a great meal and spread the word of Blue Jay restaurant 29th and Girard.
