One of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in this area. The flavor is just exquisite and the service is top notch. Their menu has a variety of dishes and they are all made fast and cooked to perfection. This restaurant never disappoints! Thank you for your amazing food!
Excellent. very clean, nice service. had tofu and veggies. yaass for the spicy acutal hot peppers! ???? ordered the fried with no egg and it came to the table perfect. Highly recommend. an unexpected surprise, will definitely come back.
Update, this spot is now a family favorite. Veggie hot pot is fabulous. Stuffed tofu comes presentation style and can be made with all veggies. ????????????????????
Went there for Chinese new year dinner and it was fantastic. They are in an neighborhood where the palate is still not sophisticated enough to appreciate authentic szechuan chines food. Hopefully they can survive until the taste changed.
I live right around the corner and Lucky Star has always been my family’s go to Chinese place. Thought we’d try something different tonight and we’re glad we did. The staff was very nice and even recommended a few dishes. We tried the Dan Dan Noodles and Fried Dumplings. The noodles were amazing and I’d even try to add some chicken/beef and broccoli to make a meal of it next time. The Fried Dumpling were amazing. You could tell they make them here fresh. For entrees we tried a bunch of different things. A Beef Hot Pot, Toothpick Lamb and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Sweet & sour Chicken was just as good as any other Americanized Chinese food. The Beef Hot Pot & Toothpick Lamb were more authentic but the seasoning overpowered the meals. It wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been much better if the seasoning wasn’t overdone & each individual ingredient stood out more. That being said we had a great experience and planning on coming back to try some more different entrees!
Was in a hurry and happened to see this place driving through the shopping center. Food and service was A+. Seems like a small family owned business but the food didn’t disappoint and we had it within ten minutes of ordering at most- and that was on a Saturday night at 6:30! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good food at a great price!
