African Small Pot

I love this small urban welcoming family oriented restaurant. You may notice cases of beverages stacked about due to lack of space however, this in no way decreases the excellent quality of food. African Small Pot serves hefty portioned finger licking good food. And the brewed tea alone is worth the visit. I'm hooked!

I had to stop up to African Small pot in Philly to see what the deal was with this Cassava Leaf plattter everybody was talking about and without a doubt I must say I Believe the buzz the beef is my new favorite and I want more!

Most of the stars is for customer service(excellent), was offered a big cup of green tea while I wait for my food and food portions(ginormous).
The kebab was spot on(yummy) as well as the ginger drink, wasn't a fan of the rice and stew/jollof but my spouse didn't mind.

As soon as I walk in I felt positive hospitality. After ordering my cassava leaves, I was given a cup of hot and delightful tea. Before taking a picture of my order, I couldn't help myself to a bite or two. May I say it was promising with it spicy, flavorful, and beefy deliciousness. If you have a sinus problem, it can knock that right out. JL Jupiter was right, if you love african food this place is a must visit.

The Lamb is FANTASTIC. I had enough to feed three people including myself. I just wish the place was a little neater. I shouldn't walk in and see beverages that have not been put away yet stacked on tables and radiators.
