Balboa Catering & Supper Club at American Silk

Balboa catered a brunch at our house for about 30 people and we couldn't have been happier. The menu was creative, excellently prepared, and full of complex, fresh flavors. The service was outstanding and the presentation beautiful - definitely one of the best catering experiences I have had.

This place is amazing. Takes food to a level you never knew existed Alex is a genius and Jocelyn super sweet. Whether you are a party of two or twenty, a must have experience!

Amazing !!! I feel pity for people that have not yet experienced the taste exploding food from this very talented chef. By far, the best meal I ever had. I'm not just talking about the quality of the product or the tenderness of how it's cooked but rather I'm also talking about the science of flavor and how different foods/ingredients compliment each other. Wow! I must also mention that the concept of an intimate supper club is the icing on cake. Met new people, had great conversation and enjoyed meeting the chef for casual conversation at the end of the meal. Delishly brilliant in every way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had a private surprise birthday dinner for my wife at Balboa Supper Club. Alex and Jocelyn were fantastic! Communication was prompt and they were exceptionally accomodating. Alex and I met in person, talked about my wife's favorite food, and he prepared a phenomenal bespoke menu. Our guests were amazed by how delicious and beautiful the plates were. Alex is an incredibly gifted chef - he's detailed oriented, inventive, technically proficient, diverse, and just a great host! The space itself is warm and inviting, although it does get a bit smoky from the cooking. Alex and Jocelyn have something special going with Balboa Supper Club. Everyone agreed that this would be a meal they would remember forever!
