Bob's Diner

Fantastic gem of a diner in Mannyunk area. The wait staff are very friendly, the food is great, good variety on the menu without having too much. Not to mention the environment is just like an old school diner (so said my dad). If the place has been around since the '40s they're doing something right.

Favorite go to for tradition diner food. Old booths, super friendly staff that go above and beyond, super yummy breakfast. Oh and the chicken salad sandwich and fries is the best!
They must be doing something right for being there 76 years. Oh! And if you are new, remember they only accept cash but do have a cash machine if you need it.

Very savory. Service is consistently good. This place has a great feel to it. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I liked.

This is exactly what I expected of a diner. No frills, no fancy new American fusion, just a diner. Fun decor, good service, simple food.

One of the last true blue no frills diners around. Breakfast is solid and reliable from the thick and fluffy omelettes to the cream chip beef. They are a great place to go and grab a quick breakfast or to chase away the morning after the night before. They have good lunch and dinner specials along with their normal menu. Lunch is always good and fresh. Dinner is a nice choice if you are looking for some decent cheap, but hearty eats.
