Good brews and good food! Pretty chill environment, not that busy on a Thursday night. Brews skewed more to the high ABV end. The balance bowl with tofu was great! Parking is available.

Where can you go to find good food...I mean REALLY good food...but also kick back in a relaxing atmosphere full of great, down-to-earth people? It can be hard to find both. But the Taproom in Chestnut Hill is a surprise for Philly foodies everywhere: a crossover of all the best things a local hangout spot should be. A space with a fun design (just check out the cool bathrooms), a bar and restaurant that's equal parts intimate and fun, with locally-brewed beer, a menu with a little something for everyone (wood-fired pizzas, plant-powered options, pasta, you name it!) Highly, highly recommend a visit.

I love coming to the Taproom. It has a more intimate, upscale, and chic vibe than the beer garden or market eating space. It is perfect for a cozy dinner among friends or a romantic date. The space is beautiful and looks as though it belongs in a hip downtown neighborhood, but instead it is right here in Chestnut Hill!

It is also nice to get some delicious food, other than pizza. Although the pizza is still all available there, the I enjoy trying their more gastropub style options, like the grilled cheese, a salad, and of course their dessert. Plus, you can get a fancy cocktail. The prices are completely reasonable, and the service is amazing. By far my favorite spot in on the hill. You don't want to miss it!

As a beer-loving vegan, this place feels like a dream come true for me! The number of plant-based menu items is so luxurious, and the quality of the food is top notch! The forager pizza with an array of tasty mushrooms and black garlic aioli has become a point of food obsession in my household, and all the small plates are just exactly the kind of satisfying comfort food that you want to be munching on paired with a flight of beer.
I have to say that especially in this time when the service industry is struggling so much with staffing and supply chain issues– the staff, the level of service and the quality of everything to eat here is exceptional.
