Fuel University City

I do not eat meat on Mondays and I wanted something really good to eat on 4/27/20. I called fuel at university city and spoke to Brittany who was Super helpful and extremely pleasant! Brittany suggested the avocado toast and I went into a long story about loving guacamole but can’t eat plain avocado. She said oh well you will enjoy our avocado toast. At the time I was on my Bluetooth so I could not read the menu. I was utterly surprised when I opened the container to learn it had corn, red peppers and feta cheese. I love all of those ingredients. OMGEEEEEE the avocado toast on rye bread was so DARN DELICIOUS that Monday couldn’t get here quick enough for me to order it again. On 5/4 when I placed my order Brittany said we are out of rye do you want white or wheat. I am not a fan of either but I went for the wheat. Brittany said I think you will like it and guess what super helpful and extremely pleasant Brittany was oh so so RIGHT.... wheat was just as darn delicious as the RYe. Guess what I am having for dinner on Monday 5/11.... YESSSSSSSS avocado toast from Fuel!!! Thank you Brittany for your help but more importantly your pleasant personality and for being in service to others during a Pandemic!!

I loved this place. This was a good choice for my new eating habits. The food was a small portion, but I was filled up; that’s a plus + for me. The shake I had taste really sweet but it’s the ingredients that I choose. Overall, this restaurant is a good choice. And vegan ? is a go here.

It was my first time eating at this location. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The place itself isn't big, but it has couple of table to seat and dine in. It's a self service. The place itself it's clean. Food came out in to go plastic boxes. But it was delicious! I got a veggie burger and my friend got shrimp salad. Good food, good time.

This location is special! Fran and all the other people who run this location are so kind and welcoming! The food is consistently great! Cheers to Health!?

I really used to like this place...then they must have changed chefs and menus, because some of my favorite dishes were either removed or just don't taste right. It's a real shame because I used to love this place.

However I will admit that I could explore the menu further and that some of my negative review comes from me resisting change.

Maybe you'll have a better time if you're coming in fresh :)
