You guy are waiting for me im ready for eat!!???
I dont usually write long reviews but I was looking forward to this place opening and finally got a chance to order take out.
I didnt understand why the owners didn't post pictures of the food when they posted pics of the menu. I'd say the breadcrumb is more Korean style while the meat is more Japanese style. (Thicker cut with some fat)
I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and quickly finished the soup that brought me memories of eating tonkatsu as a kid in Korea. The seemingly housemade donkatsu sauce was not my ideal sauce as it felt like it had hints of curry(?) (sorry, i don't like curry) and the flavor tasted a bit mild/bland. I prefer sweeter don katsu sauces and would like to suggest to the owners to maybe add a few options for the sauce. BUT the meat was seasoned nicely and I really enjoyed it without the sauce. Unfortunately for the cheese katsu, we are in the covid era and eating takeout in the car so the cheese was hardened by the time I drove away from the restaurant. Overall a good experience and will order again in the future.
