I was amiss by not writing anything. This is the best Olde City neighborhood pub. It was my backyard and living room (sometimes almost my bedroom!) for the 15 years I lived in Olde City. I seriously miss it every day now that I live in Toronto. Neil and Stacy run a wonderful homey place with staff they treat like family. You can tell the moment you walk in. Whether it's Mark, Gardner, Chris, Vanna or anyone of the other staff, they are all thankful for a great working environment and make everyone feel at home. They will always have my support even from afar and most importantly when I come home to Philly (hopefully soon)
First time here for Sunday brunch and it was fantastic. They had a few tables on the sidewalk which we were able to grab. The food came out quick and tasted great! The servers were very attentive and the priced were very reasonable. Great little spot in a nice quite part of the city.
I was pleased with my visit to Race Street Cafe. I enjoyed the calamari and the chicken quesadilla was the best I've had in the area. I wasnt happy with the Chili but apparently customers really love it. Maybe it's just me. I told the bartender it wasnt my favorite and he felt bad so he gave me a free beer. I appreciated that and I'll remember his service.
