I love getting food at Richie's. This is my favorite place to eat on campus. All the food is fresh. I always run past them on my way to the gym at 6am, and I see the fresh fruit, eggs, bagels, produce, etc arriving. It's a family and small business and the prices are reasonable. Eat at Richies!
Also, Richie kindly donated chicken fingers and french fries for about 200 students to a local educational program where I worked. Everyone loved it.
Richie's is not just a great place to grab food, it's an experience. The man is so welcoming and kind it makes every visit enjoyable. The egg and cheese sandwiches are out of this world. However I think the ice coffee might be overrated. Either way, love this place.
Personable dude and fast amazing food. Worth the wait if there is a line. Not every place can beat the queue if you’re that good.
We love Richie’s!
It stands to reason why Richie’s is one of the best food stands on Temple’s campus—it’s not just the food and coffee, it’s Richie himself. While I was a Temple student, I would stop at Richie’s many a morning before class for a breakfast sandwich (or wrap) and coffee, though his stand is also a rather popular lunchtime destination for those on campus. He has a personality worthy of his own TV show in the way he calls out orders to his back-of-house food prep staff and his penchant for remembering students’ names and regular orders. He also makes an effort to stay in touch via social media with Temple alumni (myself included) even years after they graduate. Keep it up, Richie!
