afghani food and service here is above par. Do not leave if it's busy, it is worth it. Looking forward to coming back with my relatives. Prices are appropriate. Wish it was closer to my house, I would come every week.

Excellent location for tasty afghani food. got there near six, it wasn't packed at all. had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again.

I highly recommend Sansom Kabob House (which used to be on Sansom Street). The restaurant, itself, is beautiful with a classy, authentic decor and atmosphere. The family who runs it is humble, kind, and genuine. I usually get the chicken kebob platter which comes with incredibly tasty Afghan (Basmati-style) rice, one of those warm, melt-in-your-mouth cooked tomatoes, a hearty portion of chicken (which is tender and filling), onions, salad, warmed pita bread and sauces. Overall, you're getting a bang for your buck here and an idea that it (the restaurant and setting) could actually work perfectly for your own small wedding party. If you're a Philly person, you know that Sansom Kabob House has credibility and a reliable and serviceable reputation as far as Middle Eastern style food goes. Bring a friend, bring yourself, bring a date, it really doesn't matter: you won't be disappointed unless you, yourself, don't know what types of Middle Eastern food you do and don't like!

I’ve ordered many times during last couple of months from this great restaurant. In every order, they proved their generosity and kindness. They gave an additional item as a blessing in most of my orders. Now as I returned back to my home, I already miss their food. I wish them all the best.
