Spring Garden Pizza and Restaurant

In terms of Philadelphia pizza, makers of quality are few and far between. Philadelphia itself doesn’t have a signature style pie and often borrows from other Italian American staples. That’s where Spring Garden Pizza comes in... I have tried most notable pizzerias in the city and have been left thinking the best in the region is worth going to Brooklyn NYC for. False. If you are looking for a fantastic local pizzeria with extremely affordable plates search no more.

I believe it is owned by Portuguese-Americans which lends to its originality. The garlic crust is notable and the sauce is something most Philadelphia pizzerias have failed at. I will frequent this locale and continue enjoying what they offer.

Family oriented. Warm welcome. My father passed two weeks prior to me and my mother's visiting the restaurant. This was a store that my parents visited often. They gave their condolences and warm regards. They will always have my business when I visit home.

I dine here often and this is by far one of the best places to eat on Philly! This is a family owned and operated business. An extremely friendly, grass rooted family business. Very clean, not petty with their prices and they feed the homeless on any given day. I recommend this place, Enjoy!

I visit Philly maybe once a month. I found a great place for Saturday morning breakfast not far from where I stay. Atmosphere is great and friendly staff. Food is good and as I ordered it. This is it!
