Stockyard Sandwich Co

Stockyard is by far one of, if not my favorite place to get food in Philly. Their burgers are outstanding, their daily specials are incredible and creative, and their sides are out of this world. On top of it all their house made pastrami is the best I’ve ever had. I’ve personally never had a bad experience at stockyard, everything is fresh and flavorful. I would and already do recommend them to everyone I know.

With God as my witness, they make the best burger in the city of Philadelphia. You'll get great sandwiches here in this city, but Stockyard's burger is the ultimate in steamed hams achievement! Gotta knock a few stars off since they haven't been able to make their after school special no matter what time of the week I've been calling. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays...sold out each time, even at the start of the special.

Kind of weird.

I've been here a few times after seeing them on Cheap Eats. Their breakfast is legit!! Scrapple and bacon made in house. Freaking delicious bro! This last time I got a burger and smoke wings. Very flavorful burger! The smoked wings are excellent but need a pinch of salt to bring out their flavor. Homemade ranch too! I can't wait to try other things soon!

A hole in the wall sandwich place in Spring Garden. There is not a lot of seating but you can easily take your sandwich to go.These sandwiches are big so it's not a bad idea to share with a friend. They're also pretty heavy - this is cheat day food. Don't skip out on the massive onion rings.

This place can definitely give any sandwich place a run for its money. For the smoked carrot sandwich, the smoky flavor is well balanced by the crunchiness of the pepitas. The arugula leaves add freshness with each bite .
