StrEATS of Philly Food Tours

A group of my (suburban) colleagues met me in Philly for a deluxe tour of the Italian Market with Chef Jacquie.
It was shortly before Thanksgiving but the day was sunny and warm.
Jacquie gave us a look behind the scenes, had amazing stories to tell about the neighborhood, and knew EVERYBODY. We laughed, ate, shopped, ate, laughed.

I lam a transplant to South Philly but never really knew how to maneuver my way through the market. After Jacquie’s in depth tour, I shop there with joy & confidence.

My husband & I took the Taste of the Italian Market Tour lead by Chef Jacquie. Jacquie was wonderful! Everywhere Jacquie took us the food was fantastic. Hands down THE BEST cheeses I have ever tasted. There is so much history. The people we met along Italian Market were amazing. We cannot wait to go back to roam on our own. We are certainly very excited now to experience the Passyunk and Chestnut Hill Food Tours and we will be requesting Jacquie again. She is so much fun and so friendly as if we’ve been friends forever. We loved it all,… the Culture, the Community, the Food, and the Love. Thank you for the experience.

What a fun tour with tons of inside local information about the Italian Market. Jacquie was extremely engaging and warm - she definitely has a great reputation with the store owners, who made us feel right at home in their businesses. I would highly recommend her tours for any age group or type of person!

My wife and I had a fantastic time on this tour. It was our very first time to the Philadelphia area and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Jacquie is an excellent tour guide and we would certainly go on the tour again in the near future. Chef Jacquie is the best! Her food tours are so fun and you really feel like you're part of the local community at the Italian Market. She's one of the original Philly Foodies (previously called Taste 4 Travel) and her passion for food comes through. We can't wait to get come back soon!
