Went the night before my graduation with family friends for the first time
Pros:
- Salmon and steak entrees were cooked well
Cons:
- We had to wait ~50 minutes for our entrees to come out and the restaurant was barely full. When we asked the waiters they would keep saying "the food will come out" without any reason or estimate of time.
- Someone else at the table got a pasta dish (don't remember the name, it has peas) - she said it just tasted like cream
Hands down one of my favourite places in Philly. Do yourself a favor: Order the duck fat wings as an appetizer, Caribbean punch with the Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and the Short Rib Orecchiette. You're welcome in advanced.
The food here is great and the staff is really friendly and attentive. Happy hour prices are pretty great too. The burger just won and award and they also started selling the impossible burger so that's definitely worth checking out.
Large and airy space with a nice, funky, welcomingky warm ambiance despite the space. Lots of beers on tap, delicious!
The food wasn't bad, nothing that I'd openly complain about but they need to work on the greeting from the hostess. She never greeted us upon arrival and we just wandered in to find our party. Which in hindsight makes sense as the homeless gentleman wandered in as well to panhandle from our table as we sat eating.
Nice place but they need a little work
