We drove up from New York to order take out at The Fry and it was worth it! We basically tried the entire menu! Our favorites would have to be the fried whiting, all in loaded grits, and the chicken and waffles. Everything was absolutely delicious. The fish was flavorful and crunchy and the syrup accompanied the waffle perfectly and the grits were delicious! Highly recommend it and i can’t wait to go back! Also think the endless options are dope!
The fry is definitely our go-to take out spot for lunch and dinner. The salmon bites and Mac and cheese balls are my favorite. The customer service is A-1 and the decor is very unique. The head chef personally thanks us each time we stop in for pick up. I highly recommend this place, if I could give more stars I would!
Let me preface this by saying , I never write reviews. However after eating the food ,multiple times at this point I feel confident in saying .. this food is top tier. Initially upon trying this place I was uncertain because they were up and coming but when I tell you , you can taste the love in the food. The staff and management there are courteous and welcoming . And those west side wings and salmon bites are to absolute die for. You will not regret spending your money with the fry and there wait times are reasonable and the actual place is clean.
This place is the 💣 for fry food. The whiting and the chicken is fried to perfection. The salmon is good grilled or fried. Mac and cheese balls 😋.
Get it with the cheese sauce. The crab cakes are lump and claw meat. Everything is fresh so be patient because the wait is worth it. I FULLY ENDORSE THIS RESTAURANT!! A GEM IN THE HOOD!
