Tony Luke's, if you've been living under a rock, is a staple in Philadelphia. They have incredibly delicious sandwiches. They have an enclosed dining area that is opened for the nice weather. There is usually a line ( for good reason) but the line moves fairly quick. You place your order wait for your name to be called and then it's time to enjoy your masterpiece of a Sandwich. They have a fantastic steak Sandwich however my favorite is the Chicken Italian. It comes with two breaded, deep fried chicken patties with old school taste. You can get brocolli rabe or spinach. Add some sharp Provolone and boy you will be in Heaven, for a while too, because this Sandwich is huge. The dining area is immaculate and the staff is very friendly and professional. If you are ever in Philly, take the opportunity to give this iconic Sandwich joint a visit.
I wouldn’t go here for the steaks but the pork is great. This is my number 2 spot for steak but #1 for pork. This place tends to get very busy but the line moves fast. You’ll always catch the. Neighborhood kids here after a night out. No better way to end the night than with good food
It was everything I hoped, everything I imagined and certainly lived up to the hype. Definitely recommend ordering before turning up as the queues are quite big no matter the time.
I couldn't fault it BUT they forgot to add sauce do had to eat it plain but loved every bite ????????
Best service I’ve had in my entire life I’ve been to five star restaurants and never received service like this. There was a guy and I feel so bad I didn’t catch his name but he sang and had an amazing voice. On top of that he also had amazing customer service helped me get my sandwich perfect wrapped my sandwich perfect told me how to wrap my sandwich so it wouldn’t be soggy when I ate it later. I’m Los Angeles and even though I’m 27 years young I know good customer service and I feel it. I should’ve tipped that man he was perfect. ????
Be prepared to taste the authentic Philly Cheese steak. It's not the fastest place to order a cheese steak, but that's because each order is made as it is placed. And it's that individuality that sets it apart from the rest. They also have been dabbling in their breakfast selections (which are large in portions). They also allow you to call in your order, which I suggest if the Eagles are playing that day. If you hear a tourist ask you what's better, Pat's or Geno's, tell em neither, and go to Tony Luke's instead.
