The Stand

This place was recommended by a friend. I traveled from Atlantic City, NJ to try the food. It is Super Delicious. The jerk chicken and shrimp alfredo is BOMB. So good. The presentation was even better. The jerk chicken and shrimp fried rice is very good, a tad dry, but a good gravy or jerk sauce would be a great compliment to such a delicious meal. The broccoli was so on point. Firm to the bite. The mac and cheese is very good as well. MOST DEFINITELY COMING BACK.

I've ordered from here a couple times now and the food is amazing! So much flavor, good sized portions and decent pricing. Have tried the Fried Fish w/Mac&cheese and Corn, and the Chicken Alfredo - all tasted amazing!

Highly recommend and open to try many more items off the menu soon.

The Stand makes very delicious food. Everything is fresh and prepared to order. Every time that I have visited, I was never disappointed with my food. Always hot, always tasty, and always unfortunately a wait. That is why I rated this yummy place 4/5. It’s a busy corner so the parking is limited but the wait can be a little too long at times. However the food is really good and obviously the wait doesn’t deter me from supporting this Black-Owned business. I’ve been numerous times and will continue to go. If the wait was a shorter time, I would be there everyday, so maybe that’s a good thing lol. Also, it’s cash only. If you’re okay with a little wait, please visit. You will not be disappointed. Food was good, wait was long. Ordered the salmon and shrimp fried rice, Mac and cheese, and spinach. Place is cash only. I understand it was a busy day and if it would have taken an hour because it did and more. I could have left and came back, but was told I should hang around because my order would be ready in 30 minutes. It ended up being 1 hour and 30 minutes so if I do order again I would probably call ahead first and hopefully they’ll call to just come pick it up. Hopefully it’s only around 30 minutes the next time.
