In a digital disconnected world, this place is like a good vinyl record that reminds you of how restaurants should be : a place where what you want matters, where YOU matter. Let me explain: rare are the places where the owner herself takes your order and serves you the food.
She takes the time to get it right. And then she stops ( after being invited into a conversation) to make small talk and asks about you.
In a world that is becoming more and more disconnected, this place is like a going home of sorts. Everything tastes homemade, the coffee is strong but not bitter, and the conversation is homey too.

If I lived in South Philly instead of NYC, I’d be a regular here, because the price is right, the food is right, and the owners make you feel welcome.
Food is more than about ingredients, and flavour, it is also about community, and this place gets it 1000% right.

The family that owns the cafe are super friendly and helpful. The food here is amazing, had the Polish omelette and would recommend it. There are many other options on their menu that looks good too, but haven't tried them...yet.

Very clean place with quality food. The coffee is great. Everyone is so nice as welcoming. I am looking forward to my next visit today. I’m taking all of my co workers. Excellent!
