“Had appetizers and drinks last night. Fabulous!!!! Aaron, our bartender, was great. Helped me choose my oysters and they were delicious. My husband had the chowder which he loved. He sent a message to the chef about how much he enjoyed it. Jeff, the Chef, came out and we had a nice chat with him. I told him I was having oysters and he sent a few extras out that he thought I might enjoy!!!! Amazing service. Definitely a high point of our trip!!!!! We will be back. Thanks.”

“They have some big @__ slices, and convenient location near the bars. Great for a late night, or quick snack. I couldn’t even fit the large pizza box in the car. Strapped it to the top, and made it a block away before devouring it”

“I had the lobster roll it was good but small, they did give a big portion of fries. My friend had the halibut tasty also small. My other friend had the lobster salad. We all left hungry. Food good but expensive. They should at least serve bread. Atmosphere beautiful. Very convenient after the movies.”

“This is the most amazing restaurant I’ve been in my life. This is my third time going and it has not disappointed. My partner and I left from Washington DC to have a meal. Service from all ends is impeccable. Staff makes you feel like you’re at home. You’re so well taken care of from suggesting coat check to explaining dishes. Dilara was our server and she was FANTASTIC!! She paced our meal well and told us when to stop eating the first course to save for the second (EXCELLENT advice). The food is truly outstanding. Tears every time. The meal is definitely more pricey than before but it’s worth every penny. We can’t wait to return!”

“I love this place. Food is surprisingly good. Taste + quality. I get to-go from Nora's at least once a week. As a bunus, they often add new delicious items to their menu. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are. Sadly closed Sundays. Cannot recommend this place enough!”

“I want to support local restaurants, but unfortunately this one is not going to be on my go-to list. They need to rethink their fresh ingredients. I agree with another reviewer that the veggies look/taste like they’re canned or frozen. Once they get that right, I’ll come back.”

“Oh man, this was some true Indian food! The spices were delicious and the heat was just right! Great flavorful rice as well. Superb service and a pleasant ambiance with great Indian music. I love that I can see the kitchen from the dining room- it was very clean! If I’m ever back in Philly, this will be on my ‘to do’ list!”

“This has become a reliable stop when we're by south street. Only had the catfish poboys because they're too delicious to try anything else yet. Can't go wrong with the blackened or fried catfish. My girlfriend might have tried other stuff last time but I was too involved with my own food to remember what. I do know she loved it. Awesome, crispy fries too. Definitely a must try for seafood on south street”

“A wonderful, warm outdoor dining experience with very good quality food and drink. Felt comfortable eating outside in the freezing cold due to their powerful heating system. Great place for a date, with options if you're not comfortable eating inside.”

“This place recently opened up in the neighborhood and I’m glad they did. Pizza is amazing nice and cheesy. But what I really liked was their breaded chicken and fish. It’s freshly breaded not frozen and just taste so fresh and good. Owners are very friendly wish them nothing but the best.”

“I never forget that sale about 12 years back. It was10 pieces of chicken in a bucket for 10 dollars. For one month. So, you know I had to represent the whole month until the sale ended. Let me tell you, it was worth it, and that chicken and some beer works out pretty good together. I went every day after work. And I will never forget that. Shout out to Second and Allegheny's Kentucky fried chicken. We in the future now, but I just wanted to say thanks for that fried chicken sale back in the day.”

“With price comes quality and the quality of the poke bowl is perfect. The avocados were creamy, the mangos are a perfect sweet and sour, and I’m not a big fan of raw onions but the flavor fits just right in this bowl. Parking is fairly easy to get too. Highly recommend.”

“I recently hosted a birthday party at Bloomsday (after frequenting since they opened) and had such a wonderful experience. Patrick helped me plan a special evening, from food to decor. Their staff is accommodating & lovely. The food is always sublime - simple, thoughtful & delicious. What I love the most about Bloomsday is that no matter your mood it always feels appropriate. A little hungover? Great breakfast sandwich & coffee. Something big to celebrate? A place you can dress up and go all out. It's inviting in all seasons!”

“Staff members were friendly and checking on us very often to ensure everything is alright. Unfortunately they don’t have variety of selection for entrees and the main dishes are around Tacos. I would like to see more Mexican authentic foods there so guests have more options to select from and not being forced to select from the existing menu”

“We've been going to Pietro's for over 20 years and the food and service have always been consistently good. The restaurant is clean and spacious and great for families and larger groups. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Pietro's also offers complimentary, fresh out of the oven rolls with dinner. A must have on their menu is their brick oven pizza-it's one of the best around. Besides the food being so good, another reason that keeps us coming back is the staff at Pietro's. The manager, Angelo, is warm and welcoming and always making sure everyone's experience is top notch. The waiters, waitresses, and bartenders are friendly and attentive. Overall, our experience each and every time we have eaten at Pietro's has been nothing short of excellent!”
