Apple Valley Family Restaurant

Found by accident off route 84 it was about 1 mile or so. Awesome food and service we had been traveling for 10 hours. Thanks so much

Anytime we take a trip to PA. we like to stop in to Apple Valley, occasionally. The brisket is always yummy & portions are ample. This last time the host sat us at a table for 2, yes we were 2 but the place wasn't busy & my husband is somewhat of a big guy so I feel she should have seated us at a 4 seater. Our waitress was either preoccupied, a dimwit or just not server material. She forgot several items, served me burnt toast points, I had the wrong side, & when my husband declined the soda refill she brought it anyway. The biggie though was my husband ordered a dish made with a crispy coated chicken, he received seasoned, grilled chicken. He complained but ate it anyways, he was famished! We were totally surprised when our server gave us the check & told us the manager took off the bill my husband's entree! That's class.

The food is above average, the prices are average, the service was okay, but the ambiance was dead! The music was the only thing keeping me from taking a nap, at 4pm on a Monday the guests were easily outnumbered by the staff 4:1. Having lived in the area since the early 1980's, I am thankful that they are open for Lunch and Dinner but should you come during "Happy Hour" (3pm-6pm)... expect to be alone!!!

Wow! The food, prices, atmosphere, and fast, FRIENDLY service can't be beat here at Apple Valley Restaurant! The first thing to strike you when you enter is the cozy atmosphere. No bright, glaring lights - it's subdued and relaxing. A place where you'll want to settle-in to enjoy a great meal and feel comfortable with friends or family.

You'll be seated promptly. We've never been at table we didn't like. Their menu offers an amazing selection of appetizers and entrees - something for everyone! Awesome Nacho Supreme, Asian Pot Stickers, and Bloomin Onion! If you like burgers, you'll find a great selection of them here! Also, a terrific salad selection, great sandwich and wrap offerings, and amazing steak and fish dishes!

The "pub" area is great if you're just stopping-in for a drink or to watch a game. There is a great selection of beer, and "bar specials" available. Finish-up with one of their tasty desserts. Following your meal, you can browse the quaint specialty shops. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
