Old Rangers Inn

We had been in here several times last year but not since December. Good to say it's still the same! Half rack of ribs comes with potato/fries, baked beans and cold slaw. The other order was a "Ranger's" French dip and fries. Those and a pair of lagers was about $35.00. We brought half the sandwich home and could have brought enough fries for a full order. We've always been served more food than what was needed. Ate at he bar, watched TV and spoke with others; very relaxed and friendly place. Well be back.

The cheese fries are bomb. You can smoke at the bar area, which is a relief when it's cold outside. Definitely try the peanut butter pie while you're there. They have everything you need. Can't go wrong.

We went on prime rib night, and the food was amazing. The salad bar was fresh, our server was friendly, and the prices were good. There was no wait to be seated, even on a weekend. The decor is a little dated, but it's a bar/restaurant in the woods, so that's to be expected. The bathroom was clean.

They have awesome food for a bar in the middle of basically nowhere! The Ranger Dip is amazing! You'll hear some interesting stories from the locals here as an added bonus!
