Gramma's Restaurant

It was okay. Nothing to write home about. I'm not going out of my way to go here again. There are much better restaurants in the area.

My family frequently visits Gramma's, especially on Fridays for the mac and cheese, and we've always been very pleased. However, last night, the mac and cheese was over cooked and dry. Tonight, we decided to go back. Our waitress was very friendly, but, when it was break time, disappeared and didn't come back. We never had an opportunity to order desert, and never had our drinks refilled.

Good coffee in a large mug for less than a dollar. Not many places do that anymore. My sandwich "special" with fries for under $6 came out pretty quickly. Service was also very good. If you rely on your credit card, know that you need a bill of $10 or more to use your card. Also parking is somewhat limited. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

An old style American family restaurant with traditional family favorites well prepared and served by a friendly efficient wait staff. Moderately priced I would enthusiastically would recommend Grammas when dining out in Pottsville.

Good food. Good prices. Prompt service.
